A Positive step in America!
As many of you know, the "Affordable Healthcare Act" or "Obama-care" has placed unconstitutional yokes on the necks of businesses that state that they must provide coverage for contraception for women at no additional cost in premiums. This includes, but not limited to, "Plan B" drugs, or what is called, the "Morning After Pill" as well as intrauterine devices, which are defined as; a contraceptive device fitted inside the uterus and physically preventing the implantation of fertilized ova.
I will keep today's blog short and sweet, but I want to remark on a comment that should truly outrage women. A tweet (i'm so glad that politicians now have twitter to tout their babble now) was sent out by Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid stating the following: "It's time that five men on the Supreme Court stop deciding what happens to women."
Ladies and Gentleman (mostly ladies), the last time I checked, women still had freewill. The Supreme Court does not control your actions. They cannot tell you, when, where, how, or with whom you can have sex with. If you are too dumb to wait until your married, or too dumb to use preventative contraception that YOU pay for in advance, then you can expect certain results. Those results are; HIV, STD's and of course Pregnancy. Why is it the tax payers job to make sure that irresponsible men and women keep from having a baby.
While it was a narrow victory for Hobby Lobby and other religious business owners it is still a victory that Christians should praise God for.
Ultimately men and women alike are the masters of their own fates. You can choose to wait til marriage and abstain from sex (the original planned parenthood), or you can act on your desires and be willing to assume responsibility for what comes. The government has no right to intercede in such a way and force businesses to pay for poor choices of people who lack self-control.
Wake up people!!! It is not America's job to make your bed of adultery, it is up to you to lay in it.
And that is Modern Bible Teachings.
